Our focus as a foundation is to empower our people by educating them while providing basic eye care as well as providing economic empowerment.
Healthcare
Healthcare is one of the most important components in our lives. Disease or illness can really mean a down turn in your life. The biggest asset we can have in life therefore is health. Thus, our focus.
The organization recently acquired a mobile clinic and an ambulance to carry out field health care activities around the country. With this acquisition, AMA Foundation will be able to carry out diagnostics and basic treatments especially for people in remote communities where primary health care facilities are not easily accessible.
Education
The foundation is currently building a primary and secondary school in Kaduna State, Nigeria.
At AMAF we believe that education is the foundation of society, which brings economic wealth, social prosperity. One of the main purposes of education is to educate individuals within society, to prepare and qualify them for independence well as to integrate people into society whilst teaching them values and morals of society. Education in society prepares youngsters for adulthood so that they may form the next generation of leaders. It will yield strong families and even stronger communities.
Empowerment
The aim of the project is to assist and enhance lives of individuals that are in need of financial help- to set up business and break the circle of dependency and poverty thus empowering. Our goal is to help create program that would set standards and enable individuals, especially women, from poor backgrounds to get a chance for better living.
The AMA foundation empowerment program is a micro financing scheme that aims to give beneficiaries hope for a better future, and economic development opportunities.
