We are very excited to finally open HAMI School in the Tudun Wada community in Kaduna. HAMI School provides a bright, clean and safe learning environment. The building includes 12 classrooms for primary and secondary schools, administrative offices, laboratories and a library. There is 24 hours power supply with the use of an inverter and clean water from the borehole.
The first set of 20 students reported for classes in September 2013. We will have an annual intake of 20 students per annum with the school growing gradually giving our students the best quality education available. All these children come from low-income households and have few opportunities to quality education. AMAF hopes to improve access to basic and quality education to Tudun Wada and this school is a physical representation of our commitment. The students were provided with free school uniforms and books and are given breakfast and lunch every day.
The importance of education cannot be over emphasized and is the right of every child
